Okay, but why didn't it happen with 1.1 then? That version didn't have this issue.

The new menu system introduces the sliding out and fading out effect. This is a thing i've always wanted to implement from the beginning, but i could not find the right code. Now, i think that i've found it, but it displays that annoying effect on the opening of the screen. Furthermore, from a coding point of view, it's a smarter and more linear approach than the old one. The old menu system had many other problems. I prefer the new one, hoping the bug SilentExcept is quoting will soon be addressed!

If it's only a matter of the sliding effect, MediaStream already had sliding menus (not fading) without the menus appearing when you first load a plugin. Could be a code error, I've made the Anime2 skinfiles (and editted some others) and I remember screwing up the sliding side menus a couple of times.

Mediastream menus are not sliding out when unfocused. They simply disappear as the old style left menus when unfocused. They slide out only when you change the screen as the old Black glass skin. This new menu system enables the slide out animation when the pointer or the focus is over another control outside the menu buttons. For me, this has been a quite tricky challenge... lasted almost a year of experimentations! When the Mediaportal bug on animations will be sorted out, i hope to deliver a perfect menu system!

I have set a custom name for Moving Pictures in the plugin settings "Långfilmer" (swedish for Feature Films) and everytime I enter Moving Pictures I see a "Moving Pictures" label at the top left of the screen. Is it possible to have the skin load the user's choice instead?

Hi Tgx,

thanks for the new version! It's working great with the improvments like the extended main menu etc.!

A little finding for "global Search". If using global search the following error message appears:

"File c:\....\GlobalSearch.Music.Details.xml ... not found or invalid"

The file is there, but seems to be invalid. If using the file from nova skin 1.1.0 it's working.

Can it be scaled to 1366x768 resolution? The info box on the Weather screen is slightly clipped at the bottom.

I'm using the skin with the same resolution and i cannot see any problem in the weather screen!

big again for this great skin!

But in this version I miss the display of the current time on Zap OSD when changing channel. It was there in the last version of black glass nova. Would be nice if this feature could be implemented again!
