Only problem for me is, I dunno what I will do once my trial for Photoshop expires...

I'm trying to build a different psd file without all the features that are not supported by the Gimp or Paint.net, so it will be possible to edit the file without having Photoshop.

I'm in doubt whether releasing one different file for each of the buttons in the basic home screen, or keeping them together in a unique file as they are now.
Using a file for each of the buttons would simplify a lot the creation process and would permit a much easier development of the plugin for basic home customization.

    What do you think?

Replacing all "IsVisible" to "isVisible" in the following files fixes the problem moving-pictures overlay problem for people running MP1 with Turkish regional settings. This problem also exists in Blue3 & Blue3Wide skins...

    movingpictures.xml
    movingpictures.details.xml
    movingpictures.facade.xml
    movingpictures.overlay.xml

This is probably a MP1 or moving-pictures related bug, but you can apply these changes in the next release since it doesn't break anything for people other than Turkish regional settings... =)
    Thanks for the tip!

I'm going to apply these changes in the next release!

You're welcome. I thank you for such a wonderful skin suite, really great job.
I think using all lowercase attribute values in xml files would prevent future problems ;)

Hi Tgx, I tried the VideoEditor plugin today and when I start editing a video the skin only shows black background with a few items... (see screenshot)

    Hi!

    Please try these files!

I don't know why it does not display the background image the first time you enter in the editing screen... This issue also occurs using Blue3wide skin.

That's a tough call. I would say do whatever is easiest for you in managing the skin, because you never know what features you'll want to add in the future. Artweaver looks pretty good in that it is very similar to photoshop - maybe take whatever Artweaver doesn't like about the psd file out of it and go from there?

Apologies if this question has been asked a thousand times already...

How do you edit the menu item names on the home screen. I assume its got to be in an XML file but I'm not sure how this is generated when you activate and deactivate plugins. For example I'd like to rename MyVideos, MyLyrics to something completely different.

Many thanks - great updates to the skin Tgx. Perfection in a glass :)

In the Home screen you cannot rename the menu items. These names are automatically given by the plugin name. The only thing you can do is to remove "My" prefix to the name in the configurator app.
In Basic home screen you can customize your names in the "basichome.xml" file. Just edit the <label> attribute of the corresponding hover label.

    Thanks

Hey Daniel. It's possible to change how the links work in the BasicHome Screen, just modify the hyperlink field on whichever ID button you want changed in your basichome.xml file. Changing the picture of the buttons...that's another story. You'll have to get Photoshop (I just downloaded the trial) and modify the BasicHome source in the extras pack. It takes a bit of work, but is well worth it in my opinion when finished. Only problem for me is, I dunno what I will do once my trial for Photoshop expires...

Just download Artweaver, free version! Welcome to Artweaver.de
Very nice Photoshop clone, with PSD support.
    Hi!

I've found that Artweaver free version and Paint.net do not support bitmap masks (the only feature really required to build Black Glass skin buttons).
Instead The Gimp supports bitmap masks, so i can create every basic home button in a Gimp and Photoshop compatible file format!

    Thanks

The problem still exists with these files, however after the second time entering the video editing screen everything works. Strange, looks like this could be a plugin-related bug...
