I really like the skin too....

I really like it and so easy to install! Might like to see the following:

1) An option to make the Basic Home screen not "warped." That is, just have a flat series of squares to choose from. Could be boring, but might be nice.

2) I really like the layout of TV-Series. However, when there is no series poster available, I'd like to see nothing displayed over the fan art.

3) Perhaps an option to choose how faded the back drops are?

4) More use of icons for mediainfo. I notice that if I pause a tv show, I get an icon for Xvid or whatever. However, When selecting a particular episode of a series (TVSereis) all of the mediainfo is written in text. I would prefer use of the HD and codec icons as in StreamedMP.

5) On the basic home screen, I don't particularly care for the font used at the bottom to describe which action you are about to select. The basic home screen looks really cool, but that text really detracts from the design. Something more subtle and better looking would really shine.

When i zap channels osd doesnt show russian channel names (latin channel names ok) b3w skin show its correctly

Hello, I have only a prob when I go to a folder which a folder image () does not include this on the right side as shown in the screen is visible. funzt subfolders in it though. what the reason may lie, please?

p.s. I have noticed that the volume indicator for this skin funzt or not they do not exist. blue3wide at it but they exist.

Are you using MyFilms plugin? If so, there is a well known MyFilms bug that disables thumbs display in every other mediaportal plugin.

The volume indicator is there and is working fine... remember that the volume osd id displayed only in fullscreen mode.

would you be so kind and make us an alternative MyVideos layout? Some (I) would prefer a standing DVD-case type thumbnail frame (as other skins mainly do). Like in BlackGlass the myFilms or MovingPictures layout.

PS could you describe in few words how to setup Infoservice plugin to get the Temperature on the screens along with time?

Ok, i've seen that many people complains about myvideos thumbs! In the next release i'll add an alternative layout to the extras package.

To enable temperature display you should have:

1) Infoservice plugin enabled.
2) At least a city in myweather configuration.
3) Weather information enable in Infoservice plugin.


To enable rss feed display in home and basichome screens:

1) Infoservice plugin enabled.
2) At least a feed in the Infoservice configuration screen

Thanks, but what I meant was a button which saves all of the 24 images at once

Also, if it's not to much trouble, could you make a layout for Anime2 like the one for TV series in the extra's package? For TV series I'm using BlackGlassExtras_1.7.0\BlackGlassExtras 1.7.0\Alternative Layouts\TvSeries\Current\Full Color Fanart and since Anime2 basically has the same layout, could you include it? Cheers.

Edit: Could you host your original wallpapers you used to create your basichome menu with as well? Still looking for cool plugins, I only use 12 plugins so I need another three to fill the basichome menu.

I'll work on that button, even though it is not so simple...

I'm working on a new version of the skin with full color fanart everywhere... but it is far from finished!

I'm a little embarassed, but i don't have big images (wallpapers) for the original buttons. I have got only little images for some of them... you could use the wallpapers included in the MyhomeMod of the Extras Package!

The last version i used was 1.4, and after a reinstall of MP the default home screen has the black pop up style box. Is there a way to get the old style back (selecting the pic/buttons) without having to rebuild the home screen with the editor?

I cannot understand!
The home screen with the middle black box is the "MYHOME" screen and is loaded by default by Mediaportal. The screen with the button in perspective is the "BASICHOME" screen and is provided by default by the skin without using the editor. Just press "h" on the keyboad or navigate to the stylized home button at the top of the screen to get the BasicHome screen!

Also the the modded home page with the menu on the right is cool. Is it possible to have the background image do a fade when you switch from videos to music etc?

As i've already said, no animation can be applied to the hover pictures of the menu... Simply the menu control does not provide such a feature!

One other thing i noticed, when using the moving pictures plug in (tv series too), the background art seems to load at full color and then fades down. Is this normal behavior? Kind of gets annoying when scrolling thru several movies. Would be cool if it faded up from dark or black... I'll try messing with it, but i'll probably break it. Well Thanks again!

thanks for your great skin, it's my favorite so far! really like it. but i have one problem with latest 1.7.0: the fonts are all too small! it's hard to read it from my couch. do you have changed anything with this? is it a bug or a feature? am i able to debug?
