This sounds sensible. XP itself is not able to recognize the disc either.

I'll install the UDF driver after work and test it again.

But I'm very positive that this will be the solution.

    Where? :)

    URL's broken...

Edit: Sorry, found it myself with Google. I can't make a link here, but if you search for "UDF 2.5 XP" it's the second hit.

    Success!

I've installed the Toshiba driver and after that the Blu Ray disc is found by the importer and played. Nice one!

PS: DVDs aren't played, only a black screen. Is it possibly an issue with the Toshiba driver?

Finaly it's running with the UDF driver :D

I've modified/reduced the Autohotkey script from Blu-Ray / HD-DVD Player with PowerDVD for my ATI to just
    • switch to Full HD
    • open PWDVD fullscreen
    • hide mouse
    • switch back to "normal" resolution

And integrated in MovPic : Nearly as comfortable as a integrated playback! :D

I can't say, because I only tried BlRay. When I start the dVD nothing happens. BluRay works fine now.

However, here are the logs. The interesting parts are at 22:41 that's when the DVD playback should have started.

Is the same DVD playing in MyVideo? I think it's misconfigured codec for DVD.. can you check your Mediaportal Settings for DVD?
