I would suggest (if possible) when creating an MPI for this plugin, can you have the option to "Browse" to the location(s) of PowerDVD and MP etc... This way there will be no issues with incorrect paths.

Also, is the 1st post in this thread the latest and greatest version? Maybe a version history might be in order. Otherwise MoPhat, you know how much I love you.

Its a good idea, but the HDStarter is pre-compiled, and for changes you need the AutoHotKey installed on the machine for compiling a special version.

    > i can't distribute it!

because that its not possible to make a path selection from the installer where PDVD is installed :(

yes, i will next time clear the first post and attach the new versions with a MPI installer :D, but im very occupied for the moment.

This seems quite nice, but with the commercially available PDVD this doesn't play HD-DVD right?

    Andreas

PDVD8 oficially doesnt play hddvd, but can with a simple hack (google it). Otherwise PDVD7 will natively.

For anyone interested, I've attached modified files for ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre which (should!) work ok.

There is a slight delay on the window maximise, but other than that it appears ok.

The only problem I have is that I can't shut it down (or send "escape" key command) using my MCE remote. Hitting the Esc key shuts it down perfectly. Anyone got any suggestions?

you have to use the keyword browser_back to respond to the MCE "back" button, not escape.

    e.g.

    Code:
    browser_back::
    IfWinExist, Arcsoft......etc.

ob1 -- Thanks for the tip, the browser_back: code works.

Is there something wrong with the HD Starter.dll? Even replacing the XML file with the one in post #65 won't work for me. I used the multishortcut.dll and the same configuration, as stated in the instructions, and it works great. (And I'm using the Arcsoft changes.)

I am running with Power DVD 8 right now and can get movies to play very well with one catch... I have downloaded several modified version of the HD_STARTER.EXE and what I can not get working is terminating PDVD. Is there anyway to code the back button to provide a CTRL + X to exit PDVD only when PDVD Window is displayed? That way it actually exits. I have tried ESC and Backspace on the keyboard to test manually and neither one closes PDVD. Even ALT + F4 does not work! I had to press CTRL + X and all worked correctly. Any Ideas? I am trying to just use a MCE remote and not have to use a keyboard at all as this will be setup in a closet remotely from a projector and large screen. Thanks!!!

ich muß also die Skriptdatei entspr. editieren. Wie bekomme ich die dann recompiliert?
