Thanks again Goofy, forgive my noobness once again.

So I got it working if MP is running and I insert a Bluray disc, it will minimize MP and start TMT.
Or, If the Bluray disc is already in when MP launches, I have the TMT link on my home page and the same thing will happen.

Now what I would like to do is get my refresh rate to change to 24FPS when TMT launches.

I have Dynamic Refresh rate on, and if I launch an MKV file that is 24FPS from Moving Pictures, it will change the refresh rate.
If I try to launch a Bluray from Moving Pictures, MP freezes.

Any ideas/thoughts on how to get 24FPS when TMT launches?

THanks,
Brewtal

It's not that it doesn't work, it's just that Bluray is natively 24FPS and if it runs with my plasmas default 60Hz refresh, I get judder.

It looks better at 24FPS.

If anyone know, I'd greatly appreciate an education.

Thanks,
Brewtal

Hi Brewtal,
I don't reclock either, but I read something about it and did a quick google to find what I wanted to suggest.
Maybe you could try this.

If you try it, I'm quite curious about your result.

Hi,

I've installed TMT 3 and the plug-in, set it all up and it works fine (Many thanks for that :)... but (isn't there always a but?) it takes about 2 or 3 minutes for TMT to get going. I insert the Blu-Ray disc, it spins up and MediaPortal is minimized. It then sits there for literally a couple of minutes before the cursor spins and TMT starts up (If I start TMT manually it springs right up with no pause - both the full version and MCE version). I'm running Win 7 x64 on an Asus Maximus Formula MB with 6600 quad core, 4Gb RAM and NV9800GTX+ (so plenty of oomph!) and everything else runs beautifully.

Any ideas what's causing this delay?

Yes - it's mediainfo scanning the disc to retrieve the framerate. When I start coding for MP again a fixed 24p option to bypass mediainfo will be my first task...

It shouldn't be since the plugin is not using mediainfo nor MP is used to start the playback thru g_player.

    Hi,

I've turned off automatically changing refresh rate in the plug-in and the delay has gone - insert the Blu-Ray disc, it spins up in a few seconds and straight into TMT - takes 20 seconds or so, tops, now. Many thanks.

    Tshoco:

I'm using it with MP 1.1.0 Final without any problems (bar the delay issue I had which is now sorted). Using it together with StreamedMP, Moving Pictures and TV-Series (all latest available versions) all working OK.

    Hope this helps.
