    Here is what I did.
Went into MP and cleared the channels, recreated the Hybrid setup, closed MP, stoped the TV Service process, and cleared the logs.
Copied the new file into the location and started MP, got the message to start process (ok)
Ran an OTA scan and found 54 channels
Attempted to Timeshift NBC5 (Unknown Failure)
Exited and stopped the TV service, grabbed the logs (Unknown_error.zip)

Cleared the logs thinking maybe I should try it with the channel scan done.
Went back into MP, again OK to start the process
Went right into Timeshift NBC5 (Unknown Error)
Again exited, stopped and grabbed the logs (Unknown_2nd_Try.zip)

Each time I went to timeshift, The Hauppauge Digital Signal Quality window showed the card at SNR 30
So the card is seeing the signal.....

    Hello breese

I apologise. The patch was missing TvService.exe. I blame PeaZip - when I tell it to zip up a bunch of files, it always excludes exe files (probably for security). Exe files have to be added manually. Usually I remember that but in my haste yesterday I forgot. Sorry once again for the time wasted...

Perfect! :D ...and thank you again!!!
I'll update the patch when I get home this evening. Compared with v2.1 the only difference will be the hybrid tuner fix, and I'll be posting the exact same files you're already running (so effectively you won't need to update... but of course you can if you want).

First post updated with version 2.2 of the patch. Change is the fix for tuning and recording with hybrid tuners. :)

Let me know if you need anything else tested.... I have a written plan now
At this stage it is a case of just using the patch and reporting any problems you find. I've installed the patch as well even though I don't have ATSC or CableCARD tuners, just to make sure I haven't broken anything for other folks.

@Testers I'd really appreciate it if you could do some regression testing so we can get this into MP 1.5. One feature you might be able to test is the dynamic tuner detection. Anybody with a USB tuner should be able to remove and reinsert the tuner and see that the TV service detects the changes (note you'll have to restart TV Server configuration still).
