Teletext

Hi All,

I'm keen to setup Teletext, mainly for subtitles for a friend who is deaf and therefore is unable to enjoy the news with us when we watch it together.

I have not changed anything except I have selected the "enable teletext sutitles" in TVS.

I can get Teletext up, but it just seems to freeze the whole of MP to the point where I cannot even get out of MP. Page 801 for subtitles does not work at all.

Any pointer appreciated. I'm on version 1.0.2.0.

UPDATE: Got it working by selecting both subtitle options in TV Client --> Subtitles tab, however once selected, teletext subtitles are on all the time. Any way of turning them on and off within MP itself??

Oh and before the daily restart.

I set up a scheduled task to run a small batch file which I will find, basically from memory it has "shutdown -f -r" for force shutdown and restart, I will hunt it out. scheduled tasks can be found from the control panel from memory.

I'd be interested in this. I tried the MCE MST Standby Tool but ended up getting the BSOD For some reason I've never been able to get my HTPC to go into S3 (or any standby) state which I think caused the problem with the Standby Tool. Plus (as far as I could see) there was no option for actually setting a time for the restart to happen - seems as though the programme must decide of it's own accord - I prefer to have control over that sort of stuff...

Does anyone else from Dunedin have a problem with the weather plugin?

The forecast data all seems to be fine for the following days, but the "current" weather is always set to 0, and thunderstorms! (see attachment)

Any thoughts?

Anyone here got a HVR-2200?
Radio no longer works for me, it could be because i've gone to win7, or a new mediaportal release or whatever. But when i scan for radio channels it says its not supported, and i cant map them to the card.
Using latest SVN and drivers.
