well 1.1 for that matter but seeing weve waited so long, it may aswell be 2

Just curious as to what features i may be missing out on if i dont take the leap

I'd say if all your plugins are still working well then don't bother... Especially if it's working well.....

Anyone got any suggestions on how to test my aerial signal? Every now and then the live (and recorded) tv starts getting all blocky and if I view the tuning info the quality and signal strength are way down... But other times it's just perfect.

Is there anything decent I could use to boost the signal? My sony tv's built in freeview tuner has absolutely no problems and shows TV perfectly even while my tvserver is struggling...

I have that problem with my sat dish, took me awhile to work it out but wind is changing the shape of the dish and the mountings aren't quite as solid as I thought so it is moving around abit. Just have to find time to get up there and do something about it

I am in Whakatane and just recently we have had some decent wind, haven't seen many kite surfers down here, more up the coast at Mount Manganui but if you ever want to try it out here let me know, will make sure there is clean sheets on the spare bed, I have been tempted to try it but not tempted enough to part with hard earned cash yet

....mmmm.... seems quiet on the MP front at the moment so I'll add one more "off topic" post - I was down your way a couple of weeks ago, I raced in the Tarawera 100 (miles that is) enduro; It was an awesome (though chilly) day - had a pretty good race but the blisters on the hands were fairly gnarly by the end of it. My problem is too many hobbies and not enough time. Re: Kiteboarding - you can often get some good deals on 2nd hand kit, just keep an eye on TradeMe - if you like an adrenaline rush I can't recommend kiteboarding enough

Back to MediaPortal - my system is great it's so stable now - remember the 0.2.3 days? (I thinks that's what it was when I first converted from MediaCentre(?)) - MP was very "fragile" back then but I have pretty much no problems at all now - lovin' it Time to add some more plugins to see what I can break

The Tawawera is a great even and quite a few of my students compete. I hear you on the stability front and I to am going to start playing with plugins, currently I don't run anything other than a vanilla install so it will be interesting.

Mine has just stopped working
