Empty jpg's from old programs

Using MP 1.1, I'm getting a lot of folders in the "Recorded TV"\channel folder for programs that I've watched and were deleted. They just have a 0 byte .jpg file in them. After a few months I'll have hundreds of folders. I've deleted them manually, but anyone know where these are coming from?

A guess - You have keep thumbnails in tv recording folder checked & MTN thumbnailer fails to create thumb for h264 tv sometimes, so creates 0 size file, and it gets left behind?

I looked for a thumbnail setting before posting but can't find any anywhere. Where is it?

Found it. I forgot to expand the General menu. "Leave a thumb in recording folder" is unchecked, so I guess I will have to disable "Autocreate Thumbs" to prevent this.

Hi,

I am a new user to the MP and fairly pc savvy but i am having a few problems.....

The version of MP is 1.0.2.0 and everything is ok except the weather maps don't come up (they did when i first set the system up, i have entered the url's for the maps but nothing), and after taking advice from here i have installed a TV card (Hauppage NOVA-T-500-HD (PCI)) and the card is working ok and the freeview channels have been picked up ok.

First problem is that in the settings for MP it hasn't recognised the card and so doesn't come up in the settings at all.

Also, now that the new final version of MP has been released i was thinking of updating, but is it worth it from my current version?
Also is there any guides to help you install the newer version?

I have entered some system details but need to add some more which i shall do asap.

Look forward to some help or guidance
