rlevis,
I have the same router and have it paired to a Netgear GS608 v3 8 Port gigabit switch.
The key to getting the full throughput for both is turning jumbo frames on (sometimes called Jumbo Packets), this is configured in your NIC settings in device manager under advanced. If you can get all computers set to 9000 or 9014 plugged into the Netgear switch I have then throughput will be excellent.
I am not sure on the max jumbo frame size the Linksys WAG320N is capable of and I was unable to locate any info on it, so to avoid it having to strip the packets and break them up I just went with the Netgear switch.
But if you wish to find out what the WAG320N is capable of, start cranking up the jumbo frame settings on 2 computers hooked up to it and then pass a file back and fourth after upping the settings, you will eventually work out the fastest setting.
A switch simply adds more computers to the existing network, so all computers on the switch will be able to access the internet and will receive DHCP from the router provided you put a cable between the switch and a switch port on the router.
Hope that helps
