Yep, I bought my 90cm dish and C-Band LNB from Freeviewshop.co.nz actually. I too considered the dish pointed directly at Intelsat 5 and an off-set LNB for Optus D1, but looking at the forums it suggested that D1 was more susceptable rain fade and gave a weaker signal for SBS (although this is not applicable now).

I took the view that as I already had a 70cm dish for Optus D1 and had a roof where I was easily able to hide the 90cm dish that I would just keep them seperate.

I had some rain fade on SBS even with my 90cm dish pointing directly at D1, but now that's gone,I don't really use the D1 for anything, except my wife listens to National Radio in the morning, which has to come off the sat cause DVB-T radio doesn't work when using MP server and client on separate computers. Not sure why but confirmed by others.

    Hi rlevis,
I too would like to merge a sky epg with a freeview epg (epgcollector ?) and was wondering how you do the merge?
I have looked into this briefly using powershell, but got a little lost..

My only development skills are in Delphi (Pascal) and wrote 2 EXE programs to do the merge. One to extract the data from the sky epg xml and one to merge it into the freeview xml file. I shouldn't probably say where the sky epg is coming from as it's copyrighted. but it's a shared dropbox URL. I would prefer to download the BBC Word epg legitamitly using EPG Collector but don't know how.

If I can get this working, I could make the 2 apps available to anyone who wants them.

    Hi there,

I need help please. I have got most of the hex codes for mediaportal irserver to control my 'my sky' but I cannot seem to get the 0 code to work. Does anyone have it please please it is very frustrating as all the other codes are working but without 0 I cannot change channels on the sky box.

    The code I have is

    0000 0076 0000 0024 000F 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 001B 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 0010 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0C64 000F 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 001B 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 0010 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0C53

    but it does not work.

I've discovered the software I need to use to extract EPG from a satellite to an XML file. It's an app called DVBGuide. I was wondering if anyone else here has used this before for Sky EPG and would have the batch file they used.

These are the parameters for UK Freesat.

    DVBGuide -as -c11427830 -ph -mQPSK -s27500000 -y3002 -z3003 -g c:\ChannelLogos -o freesat_epg.xml

rlevis: are you not able to use the EPG Collector to do that? Could be much easier. No guarantee that the DVBGuide program would work but EPG Collector definitely would.

In any case, I would guess the parameters are something like:
    DVBGuide -as -c12519000 -ph -mQPSK -s22500000 -y????? -z?????

Those of you who have had frequencies change recently...
Have you found that you are able to do a rescan with MP and pick everything up? I did add the new frequencies for all the regions, but I just want to make sure they are correct.
