anyone had any joy tuning into duke? just tried to scan all my dvb-t interfaces (rotorua region) and got nada :-(
It's the same as the TVNZ Wimbledon/Sport Popup. TV Server won't update the name... but it's that channel.

What do you mean? Do you have the TVNZ Wimbledon/sport popup channel or not?
If you're receiving from Rotorua (Pukepoto) as your profile suggests, you need to scan the TVNZ frequency for your area (586000 kHz).
Without log files, I can't be more helpful than that...

yes to the pukepoto xmitter, no to the wimbeldon/spot popup (to be honest, I'm not sure what a popup is... do I scan differently for that?).. my channel list doesn't have a sport one other than sommet.
that freq looks (from memory) correct.. will post logs later on if that's any help... which logs exactly? (just run the debug or something different?)
    thanks

Okay. Which version of MP are you using? (I'm wondering if your tuning details are out of date.)

to be honest, I'm not sure what a popup is... do I scan differently for that?
It's just a part time channel. When it's not showing programs, it shows a holding pattern/image. Nothing special. You don't have to scan differently for it.

my channel list doesn't have a sport one other than sommet.
Sommet - when it was alive - broadcasted on the Kordia 1 frequency (602000 kHz). It's now gone of course.

    which logs exactly?
    TV Server's log files.

(just run the debug or something different?)
    No, something different.
    1. Open TV Server Configuration.
    2. Go to the "general" section.
    3. Ensure the log level/verbosity setting is set to debug. If it's not, set it to debug and restart the TV service (manual control section).
    4. Scan all frequencies for your region.
    5. Wait for the scan to complete.
    6. Click "open log directory" in the top left corner.
    7. Zip all the files you find in that folder.
    8. Attach ("upload a file") the zip file.

Hmmm, okay. The tuning details for that version may be missing the Kordia 2/World TV frequency, but since Duke is from TVNZ's frequency that shouldn't prevent you from receiving it.

No, log files from 2013 are not necessary. Try the latest TVService.log and TsWriter.log; I'll ask if additional info is required.

    Right, thanks.

So, it should be in your TV channel list. If you haven't got a channel named "DUKE", it's because you have another channel with the same identifiers (ONID + TSID + SID). Since TV Server doesn't update channel names when scanning, the channel will be there... but just not named "DUKE". In that case, perhaps try any channels named as "Unknown...", or any obsolete channels like Sommet.

I wondered if the answer might be something like that.. I'll have to enable all the other channels (some are not enabled) and check them all again, thanks :)

it should be distributed under the TVNZ (whatever it's called... mux?) though right? so I need only enable those?. or might it have been under another?
