I would suggest you ask Isaac Lin. Check out this post: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/viewtopic.php?p=83751#83751 - notice he has not been on the forum in awhile, so it may take a little bit for him to get back to you. Notice he has MSN - so you may try that also to try and contact him.

but MP doesn't currently support Chinese. As mzemina already pointed out Isaac Lin was working on a solution and seemed to have made good progress, but he has not been around for a while. So the best bet is to contact him.
See if he has made any more progress.

It’s requiring modified C# source code, MPSA, font engine, fonts.xml, and string.xml files. Basically, it is not impossible for supporting Asia Language, and furthermore I can display Tradition Chinese in My Music mode for displaying ID3 information and file name. In the end, I am working on how to improve font engine capability and study on font engine of the xbmc project.
Anyway, I will update my work in MP forum.
