    Hi mm,

My plan if it's the plan lol, is to try to connect line 21 decoder (the one not connected in Migue Graph).
But sure i don't know if it will work :)

I think, i have the same problem. I've posted it in mediaportal development.
since yesterday, after a recording, when i'm playing livetv or recording, MP won't play, the screen freeze without any image or sound.
When I press stop, I come back to the menu.
    See my log
    Thanks

    Hi

There is no problem on the TV Server side. I'm not so knowledgeable about the client side, but it looks to me like an audio codec problem.

Is there a reason why you're using the Microsoft audio codec instead of the Cyberlink one?
Try FFDShow as the audio codec in MediaPortal configuration "Codecs and Renderer"->"TV Codecs".

After doing some testing on my setup, I'm unable to have CC on analog Recorded TV. Only Live TV has CC for analog broadcasts.

Didn't you do a backup? I backup my system at least one time a month, and also before any changes. I use Acronis by the way.

I tried this core.dll, my ffdshow came back, but my ATSC channels started to frieze.
Reverted to the original core.dll, no problems with ffdshow, ATSC channels do not frieze and I have CC on both: analog and ATSC, live and recorded files work fine. Wierd.

I only noticed a little bit of lipsync problem.

    Hi again

Like I said earlier, I found the problem but I didn't know the code well enough to fix it without possibly breaking things (;)). I asked for some help from the team and Sebastiii has created a patch. Would you be able to test?

    1. Close MediaPortal.
    2. Open your MediaPortal.xml config file and set the lastsubtitleindex back to -1.
    3. Take a backup of the Core.dll file in your MediaPortal install folder.
    4. Download and extract the attached Core.dll into your MediaPortal install folder.
    5. Start MP and try to play video and TV. If you can, check if CC and/or subtitles work.

    Thanks in advance,
    mm

    Hi,

Can you try this new dll to see ?
On recorded TV, we should see CC1 subtitle when it's analog or ATSC. (Need to add Core CC Parser in Post Process Filter).
    Thanks,
    Seb.

Tried your rework. All my tests use FFDSHOW (my fav)

    1. No CC selection from GUI (was #4 - missing)
    2. Live Analog TV: shows CC, but I saw a message: unable to create graph, restarted, works fine.
    3. Live ATSC GV: No CC (yes, cccp is enabled)

back to the old core.dll - CC everywhere.

Do you have .ts samples? I can upload ATSC HD (170MB) and analog (13MB) if you need.

    Hi :)

Yes sample would be nice :)
Can you also send me cccp filter (your version).

The thing, is that when it's ATSC, we need cccp and when analog not, Can you please also post Screenshot of building graph for each sample ?
    Thanks :)

So like now all is working for live TV and recoreded one ?
    Seb :p

I will try to make more graphs, but last time I had problems creating graphs in Windows 7.
