Hmm, perhaps it was down briefly? It's working for me at the moment.

Do you mean you cannot reach it in your browser either?

It seems to be constantly dropping. Also the TV Series Configuration hasn't worked for me for several hours. I keep exiting totally and restarting it, and when I try to do a local parsing test, the log shows:

Can't connect to http://thetvdb.com/api/<apikey>/mirrors.xml : The operation has timed out.

I try manually going to that webpage (replacing <apikey> with my key), and it works occasionally but not always. Will keep plugging away at it.

    yeh it is purely thetvdb.com.
Nothing to do with MP or MyTVseries plugin.
the MP and MyTVseries plugin only retrieves the info from thetvdb.com
and when that latter is down, one can not retrieve the data
And it is a site most used by other portals such as xmbc etc
i wouldn't want to start counting visitors daily, goes into the hundreds of thousands a day...
keeping it online alone is quite some work...

    AW: can't access thetvdb.com?

    Hi.
This is the most negative point on TVSeries at all. There are lots of different sources for TVShow data all over the Web but all MePo folks around the world are forced to use a single one. This leads to a more often down than running Thetvdb.com. Especially as Thetvdb is not a big company (like IMDB) with the manpower and money to keep such a giant project as reliable as needed..

If the TVSeries importer was "open" and "expandable" as it is in MovingPictures, I believe TheTVDB would be online a lot more often as the load was spread to multiple sources... In Germany alone we have 3 really good Data sources (all of them better than thetvdb, com if you like german or translated international shows) for TV Shows but we can't use them due the limitations of TVSeries.

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

It is present, but not with that name. It is called Scheduler, viz: Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is. Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...
