The music is probably "there", but you are viewing in the wrong folder
Like here;
All folders are scanned and added, but I will only start by seeing the "Musikk-TAG"-folder. If I wanna see the rest, I gotto browse them (using the "up" function, and selecting other folders).
Therefore; you should have one folder which includes all music you want MP to have access to... like "My Music"

Wonder what that other one is.
Can you try excluding the recording folder of all background processes? (f.e. defender/antivirus etc, and maybe (don't know if that is even a thing) from creating thumbnails)

Now that MediaPortal has gone 64-bit, any references to lParam should be converted to int64 rather than int32 or compared to zero...
