    I have some weird behavior trying to operate the MP GUI in a new installation of MP 1.36 under Windows 11 Pro. Some of the remote keys that worked in my previous installation don't work (which could be a key mapping problem), but some things don't even work when navigating the GUI by mouse. In particular, I can't delete a Recorded TV entry from the list by means of the pop-up (info) menu. The pop-up (context) menu appears as expected, but when I click on the delete entry (#2 in the pop-up menu) I get a text entry box with an on-screen keyboard. Logs are attached. The behavior is the same if I use the #2 key and it is independent of whihc skin I use: I have the same results in Frames, DefaultWide and Titan. Perhaps this is due to the exceptions I see in the MP log, but don't know how to interpret them. There are a large number of errors and exceptions in the TV Server log, but they don't appear to be relevant. I will try to add a screenshot later. F11 didn't work.
    The files in c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\thumbs\ all have inaccessible file permissions. Could this have something to do with it?

    It turns out that I can't delete Recorded TV entries at all, at least not from the GUI. Both the DEL key and the 0 (zero) key on a regular keyboard produce the same result. The 0 (zero) key is the default hotkey, according to TV Keys, and I haven't knowingly changed any key assignments. The promised screenshot is attached, along with new logs.

    P.S. The Recorded TV items were imported from a previous MP installation and otherwise behave normally (play, pause, stop, etc.)

    Please, post your entire log directory of both MP and TV Server (we need to check older service logs too).
    The epg errors in the service log seem to be related to 2 cards grabbing the same channel at the same time. It seems, there are 2 frequencies carrying the same epg data. It causes some DB errors. Please, try patched lib from attached file and let me know the result.

    @Pablik Thanks for the new DLL. Unfortunately, it didn't change the symptoms. Zipped logfiles attached.
    @TLD Done that.

    There are a large number of errors and exceptions in the TV Server log, but they don't appear to be relevant.
    From your TV Server log, it looks as though you are grabbing the EPG from two tuners simultaneously, and that this is causing problems. I would suggest deselecting the Use all available tuners setting in "TV Server Config":

    dvb_epg_3.jpg

    This will remove the EPG problem as a possible source for your deletion problem. (There may be a problem with the code for grabbing by multiple tuners, or it may simply be that the arrangement of your broadcast EPG is not suitable for grabbing by multiple tuners.)

    I tried using the context menu in "Recorded TV" on MP 1.33, and there is a strange effect when option 2 is selected: the delete pop-up does appear, but immediately prior to that some other pop-up appears, which is then replaced by the delete pop-up. This other pop-up is not on the screen long enough to be able to see what it is. o_O

    @CyberSimian Thanks for your hint. I thought that I had always had "UseAllAvailableTunersForEPG" enabled, but I didn't find it in an old settings export. Is it a new feature? I am surprised that such an option would exist if it would cause problems. IAC, disabling it didn't affect the delete problem.

    It is relatively new (within the last few releases of MP1). Unfortunately, the MP Wiki has not been updated with this change (it needs a new screen shot plus explanation of the option).

    The usefulness of this option depends on how the broadcaster in your country organises the EPG. In France this option is very useful, and reduces the time taken to grab a complete EPG. In contrast, in the UK this option is of no benefit at all. The UK organises its EPG differently from France.

    You have specified your home country as Switzerland. I don't whether this option will have any benefit for Switzerland, and it is also just possible that the Swiss EPG has exposed a bug in the implementation of multiple grabbers.

    Well yes, but even then it shouldn't happen.

    Thanks. Can you try the updated dll from my previous post?

    Thanks for the new DLL. I'm not sure I did the right thing with the first one. TvBusinessLayer.dll exists in both "MediaPortal" and "MediaPortal TV Server". I put your first test version in "MediaPortal TV Server". Where does your test version belong?
