    Dear Arion
Sorry to inform you that it didn't work out as we hoped. I first downloaded the file and put it in the directory. After that nothing changed, altough I again let Webepg_config do the work and I the remainder: No program information.
Well, then I tried a freshly installed MP, with everything you said in the last post and before.
Same result: The plugin in the TV-server can find the TVguide files (after I told where to look)
It niecly came up with info after loading the file.
I turned on the Wegepg plugin in MP-config. So No problem there I hoped.
    But still: no prgram information.
So What is next? A nice crisp install of RC1?
Just for the Hack of it; I uploaded the logfiles of almost everything, but the kitchen sink

    With kindest regards
    Erik

Notice that this time TVGuide.xml has program data (315KB now vs 3KB last time) so WebEPG is grabbing program info now but this info is not imported to TVServer

You are missing the TVServer logs so I do not know what happens with XMLTV importer plugin.

You can either try RC1 or post your TVServer logs. Also when in XMLTV plugin configuration try a manual import.

So in order to get WebEPG running you need to install MediaPortal on the server as well (you do not need to run it, just install).

Please explain in further detail, I'm not sure how to install MediaPortal on the server and I'm having the same problem.

First of all this is only for versions up to (and including) 1.0.2

If you are running single-seat (just one htpc running both TVServer and MediaPortal) you don't need to do anything.
If you are running multiseat with a dedicated server you have to specify a single seat installation on the server (on clients you do normal client installs). This way both TVServer and MediaPortal will be installed on server and you can configure WebEPG.

I have version 1.0.2, running single-seat. I ran the WebEPG config, imported channel data and I can see the channel numbers and names. But there is sill no channel info when I run mediaportal...and there is no WebEPG plugin option in the tv-server configuration. I have ComSkipLauncher, PowerScheduler, ServerBlaster, TV Movie EPG import, and XmlTv.

    What is the next step?

First try running WebEPG manually. Do you get data in tvguide.xml (it is in %ProgramData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TVServer\xmltv)?

Now run SetupTV and configure Xmltv plugin. Save your configuration and press "import now" to verify.
Run MediaPortal to verify you have data in TVGuide and exit

Then you need to schedule WebEPG to run every day (or at what ever intervals you feel appropriate). To do so, you either have to enable and configure WebEPG plugin in MediaPortal configuration (not SetupTV) or use Windows' Task Scheduler.

    Finally restart the system.

nothing happens when I try to run WebEPG, WebEPG Config works, but I see no options for tvguide.xml

When I run SetupTv and tried to refresh the mapping it said "tvguide.xml file not found at path [\tvguide.xml]

I feel like there is something simple I have missed

I see the folder xmltv in MediaPortal, and I think that's where the file should be, but the folder is empty

    Please post your logs.

Also check that there is an xmltv.dtd file in the xmltv folder. If copy there the one attached in this post.
