mm, this is breese and I am assisting RonD with his MP2 install and config.
The card in his machine I do not know very well.
I have an ATSC scan going and on channel 4 alone it has found 525 channels.. Really? on ATSC in Canada?
The big question (While the scan completes) is this card has 6 tuners.
Once the scan is done (and I sort thru the channels), what is the best configuration as to using all 6 tuners.

Every one of those channels come up as Unknown and the channel #

Why are you attempting an ATSC scan - something intended for tuners connected to an aerial - with a CableCARD tuner?!?

RonD does have a 2250... but I don't think you're helping RonD.
It is 100% clear from the screenshot that you're dealing with a Ceton InfiniTV 6 ETH there. That is very different from a 2250, and it cannot be used for ATSC.

Well I guess something changed because I am looking at a Ceton.

He had installed and uninstalled MP2 a number of times and had all kinds of .Net errors.
After an hr on his machine I got MP2 up and running, so as for Not Helping, I think I went above and beyond.
Seeing I already have access to the machine, I thought I could do You and Him a favor and get the TV Card up and do some channel scans. I know there has been a Lot of people moving from Windows to MP and Thought you (of all people) could use whatever info I might gather.

So... back to the subject at hand.... The Card cannot be used to ATSC? what is it... Analog?

No, it isn't analog.
It is a CableCARD tuner. The clue is in the name.
CableCARD tuners are used to receive digital cable TV. They're similar to a clear QAM tuner... except they can decrypt channels (where a clear QAM tuner cannot).

Well, I installed the patch after stopping the MP2 server process.
After putting the files in their locations, when I went to start the process back up, Setup TV crashed.
Something tells me the instructions from MP1 to MP2 do not work... oh well
