    Hi again

This must be frustrating for you - I apologise!
    Please try the following:

    1. Download GraphStudio from here.
    2. Run GraphStudio as administrator.
    3. Click "graph" -> "insert filter...".
    4. Select "BDA source filters" in the drop-down box in the top left corner and "all filters" in the field beside it.
    5. Take a screenshot of the list and post it here.

    Hi again

I'm behind an ISP filter that blocks imgshack. Any chance that you could simply attach the image to the post...

    Thanks for that Rekenaar :)
Right, the source filters are there, so theoretically TV Server should detect the tuners. Please do the following:

    1. Delete your TV Server log files (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\log).
    2. Restart the TV Service.
    3. Post your tv.log and error.log here.

    Hi again

    From your TV.log:

    Code:
    2010-12-27 14:20:08.923022 [SetupTv(1)]: ---- restart tvservice----
    2010-12-27 14:20:39.071747 [SetupTv(1)]: ---- Unable to restart tv service----
    2010-12-27 14:21:02.224071 [TVService(5)]: Detecting Cards
    2010-12-27 14:21:02.265073 [TVService(5)]: Detected IP TV Card 0
    2010-12-27 14:21:02.553090 [TVService(5)]: Controller: started at HOMEPC

Firstly I don't understand why the TV service wouldn't be able to restart.
Secondly, there is absolutely no mention whatsoever of any tuners.

These are some obvious questions, but they need to be asked:
    - you have restarted your TV Server since you installed the tuner drivers haven't you?
    - the tuners are plugged into the same computer that the TV Server is installed on aren't they?

Something just seems strange here. I await the responses to my questions, but assuming the answers are "yes" and "yes" I will prepare a debug version of TVLibrary.dll that will tell us more about what is going on...

yeah i agree. i noticed that too.
--yes ive restarted my TVserver a number of times now since installing.
--yes the TV tuner card is in a PCIe slot in the same computer as Mediaportal is running from.

EDIT: just deleted my logs, disabled the TVService service/process, and got the exact same results... so its definitely a repeatable issue

Okay, here is the debug version of the tuner detection that I promised. I wasn't able to put in as much debug as I wanted to, but lets see how this goes. Instructions for use:

    1. Stop the TV Service.
    2. Take a backup of the TVLibrary.dll in your TV Server install folder.
    3. Download and extract the TVLibrary.dll attached to this post into your TV Server install folder.
    4. Clear your TV Server logs.
    5. Start the TV Service.
    6. Zip up your TV Server tv.log and error.log files and post them here.

By the way, just to clarify your earlier answer: the tuner is installed into the same computer that TV Server is installed on. Correct?
