Clean client install freezes up when I try going into almost anything (1 Viewer)

Title says it all. It's freezing up when I try to do almost anything to test if it's working. Client logs attached.

Over and over again: unable to create/modify the TV Server database connection configuration file (gentle.config) and unable to connect to the TV Server database.

Have you got that file open in another application?
...or is there some alternative reason why MediaPortal wouldn't be able to modify it?

Nothing I'm aware of... I rebooted and went directly into MediaPortal and the same thing happened. I've tried running it as Administrator in case it was some weird Windows 7 UAC issues and same thing. Any ideas?

Delete the file manually and then try opening MP again.

That got it working, at least enough to navigate through the menu, but still locks up when I go to look at channels or the epg. It did initially fail to connect to the server so I disabled the firewall for now, I'll go add the permissions once it's working.

Edit: I just tried again and it's failing to connect to the server.

Wild guess, how much disk space have you left on your installation drive? C:?

Drive space is not his issue

Free Space: 267.6 GB
Total Space: 610.5 GB

this might a big part of the issue
