    Any other test results? We need more of those.

    If you provide a binary version (no installer, but dll's to replace) I'm happy to test it on my productive system :)

    Unfortunately there are too many binaries to be replaced so it wont be convienient (and has too big risk of causing false alarms).

    @FreakyJ, you can use deploy NSIS separate installer to upgrade your installation ? :)
    I mean you can backup your folder -> do an upgrade -> see if all is good and revert it ?

    But maybe a branch would be nice to compile on my own.

    https://github.com/tourettes/MediaPortal-1

    Master is not anymore the same as the build content here - it includes one extra Mantis issue merged (http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=4201).

    I would really prefer that the testing is done by the provided binaries since otherwise it will be impossible to tell where the issues are sourced (build issue, merge issue, other included branches etc. are all something I dont want to go thru nor even have time to try to resolve).

    and getting this error:
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.
    Than did a manual uninstallation of MP and TVE and installed MP + TVE again using your installer, the MySQL promt appeard, If I click on the test button I get:
    "Please specify a valid hostname or IP adress for the sevrer", I have entered "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" both are getting rejected... if I enter: "192.168.178.21" (Ip of another HTPC computer) it works.
    After the installation i changed the IP in the gentle.config to 127.0.0.1 => it worked!

    I started grapping EPG on a channel with no EPG info yet => it worked great also äüö etc. no charset glitches :p
    And couldn't find any other glitches (except the installer problems...).(y)
