And since we are soon to release 1.3.0, and this will go into 1.4.0 (we hope!), if this was committed to master, do we need to make a 1.3.x branch in case bug fix releases are needed? I am thinking how we need to proceed in order to make good progress.

In my opinion yes.

You can create branches in GIT based on tags, SHAs or branches - so no need to create any 1.3.x branches for now they can be created when needed and be based on the 1.3.0 release content with no extra effort.

Now testing on three systems, and I still see no issues.

Now that MP 1.3.0 is released I guess we can start merging the tested fixes to master as part of the 1.4.0 development process!

We need to update the build documentation in WIKI + fix the bot at least. Other than that we should be good to go in my opinion.
