Just going to test this using dvb-t, as I use FTR as well will see what codecs are being used for playback.

I would install the LAV filters available from MP's desktop extentions installer, update then you should see the LAV filters, these should be set for all audio inside MP's config except for renderer, leave at default directsound, dolby will now play using LAV which is not available using M$ codec.

Ok, I installed LAVfilters 0.42.0.0

For TV Codecs I now have

Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder
Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder
LAV Audio Decorder
LAV Audio Decorder
LAV Audio Decorder

That is a bug, really not sure what the hell is happening as getting frozen video opening in a separate window from MP's gui when running in windowed mode

Any ideas when this bug will be fixed, quite serious as it means I cant listen to radio.

Ok as you can see from screenshot what is happening to me, MP's GUI goes to background and video window opens separate.

To reproduce

Start radio in my case from radio epg, switch to tv epg and select current on air program, radio stops, windowed video starts playback frozen for about 5-10 seconds then resumes playback.

This does not happen if radio playback is stopped first.

Just as further info, I'm using Argus, not TVServer via unc, but I suspect this is a MP player problem.

Stopping playback before switching to tv works fine.

That works ok.

One other problem is when I am watching live tv and go to listen to radio, mediaportal freezes, it shows a frame from live tv.

Again stopping TV before listening to radio fixes this problem.

Hi folks

From my perspective this is not an MP bug - it is a FTR bug. They don't correctly handle/trigger the rebuilding of the codec graph. I cannot reproduce with TV Server + the MP TV Plugin.
