Are we there jet?! It feels like just some month ago i ve read about this wiz-guy thinking he could do one portal on his own... He did it.
I was so happy to see mustayaluca beeing continued, but your latest design comes close to what i would call perfect.
I love - hope i understood it correctly - to have this decent one menu design. ( main menu bar always visible )

What i like most about your latest screenshots is that there are no - for me - unnecessary infos but a lot of movies per page.
Dont care if a movie is hd, sd, xvid or x264, all movies have a reasonable quality.
I dont choose a movie by having subtitle or resolution.

Guess best would be our wifes would contribute to skin design, never ever heared my wife saying "Lets watch some hd movie today".

Glad you like it the idea is that at first glance it's minimal, clean and slick looking. But if you do want the extra info you can see it just by going left to the info button so it tries to cater for people that do want the info too BUT the info does not need to be in your face all the time.
You are correct about the menu it is visible in any screen that i can make it navigatable ( the exception so far being tvguide due to a limitation in MP at the moment ) with a remote.

Awesome. I hope you get it working. Would it be possible for config to specify the top menu?
Perhaps alternating background shades to differentiate the buttons.

Is that "huge" gray border a design decision, or an artifact of the upload. (Hard to tell where the edge of the screen would be.)

Skins need a way to determine width of a given text with a given font, or an auto-width for text-oriented items.

Correct we need a button that auto sizes depending on the size of the label.

The "content" of the images seems small relative to the screen size. I'm color blind, so maybe it's not gray.

Ah i see well the last screens were concept, i am actually working on making that view live now.
