Hi Ansy_74,

There is a branch on github, which you can compile.
In this branch the anysee E7 TV cards are supported , when you use a cam (not the smartcard slot).(I think this is a problem for CI+)

https://github.com/MediaPortal/MediaPortal-1/tree/EXP-TVE3.5_SEB_MERGE_Testing_Only
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/18_Contribute/4_Development/Compiling.

There is a new thread started here : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/testbuilds-for-mp1-tve35.116924/

remember that this is still experimental !

Ps: welcome to mediaportal(y)

Hi again.
I manage to compile your version of MP.
It works but I can't decode the scrambled channels.
Do I have to do anything special in the settings?
Regards
Ansy

Please post your logs, then tomorrow I will see if I can help.
Your configuration is correct?
To bed now.

Hi, I might have compiled the original MP source code. I will try to get your branch version and try again.
Sorry for that.

Hi Ansy_74,

Do I need a GitHub account?

I do not think so (I'm not sure), but I have an account.

Why do I need MySQL 5.5?

There are certain parts of MySQL 5.5 that are used in the code of the new tvserver
Maybe a developer can explain this better ( @Sebastiii ).

I had forgot one more thing to mention this morning, you must also install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4

WCF seems to work better on MySQL 5.5/5.6 but badly on older version :)

I can't clone the repository now. I have tried four times and TortoiseGit ends the transfer with: "git did not exit cleanly (exit code 128) (2469922 ms @ 2013-03-18 23:44:53)" when I write "EXP-TVE3.5_SEB_MERGE_Testing_Only" as Branch. Any idea?

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

Are different people taking turns watching the same thing on the same HTPC? For me, separating users in MP2 is a drawback, as is the interface. Simply put, this can't be done in MP1, or rather, it can't be done quickly, because everything would have to be rewritten. But if each user logs in with their own Windows account, MP1 can...

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?
