Hi,
Try to clone to a other drive/partition.
I had that error also as I cloned a second branch into the same folder.(make sure that you have an empty folder).

Hi, guys
Are there any big improvements from tvservice v.1.2.0?
My compiled version (1.2.0 with anysee support, I posted about it in message #26 of this threat) is still working and I want to know should I spend time for compiling new one?

Regards,
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

There is a new TV server in development (TVE 3.5).
In this TV-server:
The TV hardware is basically a plugin.(Anysee is one of theme)
There is support for the TBS TV cards
There is a new logprovider (log4net)
Support for MP2
Move to NET4.
Some changes in the database.
And more....

There is a new thread started for MP1:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/testbuilds-for-mp1-tve35.116924/
And for MP2:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ive-mp2-tv-updated-for-winter-release.114068/

If you want to test these builds report in these threads.
This TV-server is still experimental !!!

Hi Ansy,

I think it is a database problem.
Do you have MySQL 5.5 (latest version is good) installed, MySQL must be installed first, before you install mediaportal.
If you have MySQL installed, can you check the database with MySQL Workbench
You should have have the following tables (see screenshot):

Thanks jehe
I had MySql installed but I reinstalled everything again.
But now I can't get TVService to start. If I install the 1.3.0 Release the TVService starts but not the compiled one.
I get two errors in event viewer, see images. Sorry for the swedish but hopefully you can help me anyway,

Is there a step-by-step instruction on how to compile the anysee branch in MP?
To be specific I have an anysee E7T2C with a TechniSat CI-Module for Conax Encryption.

Hi Nugendugen,

- Download the necessary software.
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/User:HomeY/GitHub_(Git)/1_Git_Setup
- Clone the Git repository (branch)
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/User:HomeY/GitHub_(Git)/2_Git_FAQ/Clone_the_Git_repository

gitclone-jpg.122954

place there: EXP-TVE3.5_SEB_MERGE_Testing_Only

- Compile and Build MP1
Now you should have a folder called /.. / Build
Run the following script from the Build folder: MSBUILD_Rebuild_All_MediaPortal_Release.bat
http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/User:HomeY/GitHub_(Git)/3_Compile_and_Build_MP1

The script creates a folder called release, with two installers (mediaportal, tvserver)

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

I don't think so, because MP has no way of knowing at which timestamp the external player stopped playback. Best way to achieve this would be to use an auto-resume feature in your external player itself. (MPC-HC can do that, I don't know about VLC)
