You can update TVOSD.xml in your Titan skin directory. Add the following lines to the <control>-area of <type> tvprogress:
<markertexture>osd_progress_mid_orange.png</markertexture>
<labelmarkerstarts>#TV.Record.jumppoints</labelmarkerstarts>
<labelmarkerends>#TV.Record.chapters</labelmarkerends>

Please also update Titan with this.

Thanks, this worked, but only halfway. I now see the comskip bars when I press the info button on my remote (F3 I guess) but the bars are not there when I press pause or play.

Any hint what else I have to change?

As the TVEngine is same, is it not possible to take over some MP1 code pieces here or is it fully player dependent? So far not, this could be achieved. But at first the infos need to be existing.

HD terrestrial TV in the UK supports both interlaced and progressive modes. My Sony TV's info screen identifies what mode is currently being received, and I was astonished to observe that the video datastream can switch rapidly between interlaced and progressive, even within single advertisement! I am glad that you were able...
