I also have the exact same issues here in my living room.
The micro stutter happens once or twice a minute and last aprox. 2 seconds.
This only happens when watching HD channels though... ( Ned1,2,3 HD, Discovery HD etc. )

My logs are also filled with:

22-06-2010 00:32:13.546 [cb8]Demux : Audio to render 0.200 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:18.218 [cb8]Demux : Audio to render 0.187 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:23.703 [cb8]Demux : Video to render 0.546 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:23.828 [cb8]Demux : Video to render 0.544 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:23.859 [cb8]Demux : Audio to render 0.184 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:24.109 [cb8]Demux : Audio to render 0.181 Sec
22-06-2010 00:32:26.296 [cb8]Demux : Audio to render 0.167 Sec

I am happy to hear that i'm not alone in this.

Anybody had the chance to take a look at the added logs?

If you use Multeseat configuration, what is your client-server connection? Wired or Wireless?

Still waiting for full client and server logs

Could you please point me at what logs you exactely need from the server? I added to the first post the full set of logs that's automatically generated by the debug mode.

I don't see the same feature on the server side, so am i to simply zip every single logfile i found there and post it, or is there a subset you need? Sorry if ask this, but it's the first time i am reporting a problem...

Thank you again for your support.

    Cheers!

I also have very short stutters now, just a bit of stutter for 1 or 2 seconds and then the normal playback is back. It occurs about 1 or 2 times a minute.
Pausing has no effect on this, just like rewinding for a bit.
It's also random: if it occurs and you rewind say 5 seconds, the stutter is gone... only to occur at other times.
Fast moving frames or not also has no effect on this.
Didn't have this before, but I don't know if it sneaked in in RC2, RC3 or RC4.

Quite annoying when you're watching WC soccer in blazing-sharp FullHD with your friends...and you have little stutters as an MP-bonus :(

That sounds exactly like what I saw with RC4. My logs are here from when I saw the problem. This was with Cat 10.5.

I thought the problem was fixed by using performance power setting in Vista, however I'm not doing much testing at the moment. If I can get some time, I'll try out RC5.

Yes please simply zip all the TV server log files.

TV logs cover a whole day so will need some that align with the client logs

I've got a NVidia card, not a ATI card. I'm also using Vista, so I'll try the performance power setting...but it's not a real solution. My pc should be easely capable of running HDTV smoothly, as it did in MP a while ago WITHOUT wasting extra electricity.

I have the same problem, but only with the DVB-C Terratec H7 tuner. DVB-T and analog is working fine. Tried live TV with DVB-T tuner and then an analog tuner-OK. Then tried the DVB-C tuner and Mediaportal crashed. PC needs restart to get the windows XP START button and bottom taskbar back. I have also lost contact with the TVserver occasionally.

See also this thread for more info:

Did anybody take the time to look at our logs yet?

Multiple people have supplied full logs and are all experiencing the same issue.
    Thanks in advance
