Controll another player with remote (1 Viewer)

Hi
I configured Mesia Portal to invoke moview with MV2Player.
The problem is that when the player invokes, i can't control it with the MICROSOFT Remote Control.

Does someone have a clue what should i do ?

Use something like HIP, GhostEvent or Girder (I recommend HIP) or try out some new software I'm writing called IR Server Suite...

if i will use HIP this will change the events map and the remote control will be ok with the player, but will no more control the MP.

That's sort of right. You could use the Message Plugin for mediaportal to get HIP to send button press information back to HIP.

These are the sorts of issues that led my to write the IR Server Suite, it's designed from day one to work with MediaPortal. But it's still early days on that project, so it might be best to try HIP first.

I haven't used EventGhost yet myself, but I have heard very good things ...

I've just been very busy lately. I'll take a look at it soon though.
