Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber (4 Viewers)

Ok, thanks. I was afraid this would be the answer. I guess no choice but to restrict the grabber to EPG only & occasionally do a full grab manually to update any changes.

It would be great if we could get the source for the plugins as someone could probably add the functionality of having static user defined groups and then the moving groups as per Sky, but I think only DJBlu could do this at the moment.

Not sure if you're still around or if you've gone of to your secondment but I'm still having issues with the duplication of free to air channels when using the Sky NZ plugin. See image below:

There are only around 120 or so actual channels, the total you see in the channels tab (904) is due to the constant duplication of FTA channels on each scan. As Sky NZ shift the EPG around quite a lot during the day, I'm on an hour scan to ensure it is accurate and this is the cause for so many.

As we don't have access to the plugin code, is there any chance you might be able to take a look at it? There is also the issue of the missing kids group tab but that is minor really...

Edit: Also getting a large amount of BAT / SDT errors when doing updates too.

Hello. Thanks for a great plugin. I have installed this on one of my htpc's as a single seat installation and it works perfectly however I am trying to set up a multi seat installation with a separate tv server and separate client installation. I keep getting this error. Tv plugin and mediaportal don't have the same version. Please update the older component to the same version as the newer one. Any ideas what I can do? Any help would be appreciated.

Without sounding the obvious, when you upgraded the client, did you install 1.6 first and then ran both the mediaportal installer and the tv engine installer from the first page? You need to overwrite the normal 1.6 TV Plugin with the one contained in the TV engine zip.

I installed the final version first then I installed the patched version. I have tried it with 1.6 and 1.4 but still get the same error.[DOUBLEPOST=1393575637][/DOUBLEPOST]I was installing the tv engine on my home server and then mediaportal on the client pc. Is this right?

Sorry, if it sounds like you've answered it, just want to make sure. I presume you've also installed the TVengine above on the server as well? Normally when it states that error it means that in the versions between mediaportal and the tv plugin are not correct.[DOUBLEPOST=1393575828][/DOUBLEPOST]

Ah no, you still need to install the tv engine on the client, all it will do though is install the correct version plugin.
