this is NOT a tswriter issue!

please check if tvservice.exe is still "running" in memory (task manager). kill it and than restart it. than it's fine again ;)

kkendall, can you please test the attached tswriter build?

    it contains these changes:
    • EPG and MHW grabber are enabling CRC32 checks
    • you will find "CRC failed" in TsWriter.log, if the checksum of a TS packet is invalid
    • TsWriter.log contains a timestamp in name (don't care about, but remember when posting logfiles)

I've running this version an used idle grabber the whole time. It loaded 23000 EPG entries to programs and I still can tune channels.

    Please post your results :D

I gave it a try based on latest public svn - worked for some minutes but then gave millions (or at least thousands) of crc errors after I tried starting timeshifting a channel and i couldn't start tv streaming anymore (remote client, rtsp) - seems all data has been identiied as crc errors.
I use the idle grabber with a "careful config" since several month - means I disable EPG for certain channels/transponders whenever I realize freezes of the idle grabber. So MP internal check would be highly appreciated, makeing epg-config much easier ...
(I went back to svn release version after that)
