Maybe we can add an option to let LAV splitter doing the selection, there a very good advanced option for it.
Maybe it's possible to let MP to do nothing and then lav splitter will select the track. I don't know if it can work but could be nice to test

I can make a quick bin against 1.13 Final
So @Dr Forinor, can you upgrade to 1.13 ?
The quick test will be to override both line in MP :

        SelectSubtitles();
        SelectAudioLanguage();

And let LAV Splitter to select what you want

For the feature to develop, if we have an option to always take the detected default track, it will take the default one whatever the selected language set in MP configuration.

If I install 1.13, will it affect my current settings at all? I can install over the previous version? Or does it have to be a clean install?
