Disable mouse scroll (1 Viewer)

i guess if u install the software for ur mouse, u can disable it, else there is another program, that can disable it, but i forgot the name :-(, guess you need to google

The mouse wheel properties not showing in Control Panel is a bug in your system.
You do seem adamant about killing the mouse wheel action. Today is your lucky day. I wrote a tiny prgm to give the Mouse Wheel a flat tire. I named it Wheel-Killer. It will disable the mouse wheel immediately when launched. The mouse wheel button action will still work, but scrolling will be history until you re-boot.
It is not persistent because you may want the function back some day. If you always want the mouse wheel disabled, put the Wheel-Killer program in your start menu, startup.
The file might be blocked in your computer. Right-click the file, select Properties, and "Unblock" if it is blocked (because it came from my computer, no viruses or anything of the sort).
Get it Free after an annoying delay by clicking "Slow Download" right after clicking http://www.4shared.com/file/VJNiIQlA/Wheel-Killer.html

I don't think that he wants to disable his mouse wheel in windows.
Instead I suppose he wants to disable the functionality in MediaPortal with which the main menu scrolls up or down when you are with the mouse in the MediaPortal screen.
But I can only guess because the error description is extremely short...

If that is the case, pressing keys on the keyboard or remote should steal the control from the mouse immediately. Not a solution I know but I see quite a few threads about people who are confused about or don't like how the main menu works with the mouse. Sometimes just suggesting the above or mentioning basic home is enough...

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
