Yes of course. The Summer '15 is way to old and lots of those guides did not work with the old version. E.g. the installer. With Summer 15 you need to manually download and install all needed extra software (runtimes, frameworks,...) by hand so not even the installation procedure is the same.Am I best with that version for what I want?
I think you have not entered the credentials to access files on your NAS. This has to be done before you add any media sources to the MP2 server. So best is to stop the MP2 server, delete the old database in "c:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Database\Datastore.s3db" (if you didn't alter the installation path manually) and then start the MP2 server again. ProgramData is a hidden folder by default so make sure you can see them in Explorer. Now run a client (no matter which one) and go to settings - server settings - network credentials. For now you only can add one pair of username and password so make sure you have the same user available on every NAS in your network. What have I done wrong?
Maybe your installation didn't work as expected (most likely due to AV software or similar). On my Win10 system the "www_imdb_com.xml" is located at:There is only C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\SlimTVCore
