are you using the BDA driver? or the wdm? If you're using the BDA driver it won't work there is no diseqc support in the technisat BDA beta driver. (Not that i ever got it to work with the wdm driver). I've got rid of my motor now and instead opted for multiple LNB's on 1 dish which is much better anyway, no channel change times etc. I'd sooner add another dish before I got a motor again; also means you can have multiple cards getting different sats. :)

fixed some issues with diseqc positioner in svn 15125
After installing, please re-setup your dishes & channels:

    1) run setuptv
    2) clear all tv/radio channels
    3) setup the LNB's by card->LNB setup
    4) setup the diseqc motor by:
    - select the card
    - goto the diseqc motor
    - select the correct sattelite
    - select a transponder
    - now use move left/right to align the dish
    - when dish is found, press store position
    5) repeat step 4 for any other sattelite
    6) now goto the scanning tab and scan the channels

Please note diseqc positioner is only support atm for:
    - FireDTV-S
    - FloppyDTV-S
    - Hauppauge DVB-S
    - Technotrend
    - Twinhan

    I don't understand what I'm doing wrong! I'm using TV engine 3 SVN 15133.
Still no moving at all. Whit SS2Diseqc it works like a charm.
I'm using the technisat WDM driver, not the BDA.
    What am I doing wrong?

@Goodwin: multiple LNB's is not an option because I want the Astra and the Hispasat and there is almost 50 degrees between them. I also like to "browse" different sats to see what is on. I have a 80cm dish, and I don't want a second dish.

@Bakra: I think this means no motor support on the technisat. :-(

You don't need hacked drivers for the latest ss2diseqc - it works fine with normal
ones (both 440 and 441 beta). Technisat don't like this, but they don't actively stop motor control either.

    Hi all!

I´m trying to get sense of TV-servers motor setup. TV-server seems to move the dish so I think thats working? Storet position 1 and went to channel scan. Tried to scan channels but TV-server says that card is locked and won´t do the scan.

Only way i have been able to scan channels is to disable all diseqc motor options and select only one satellite and restart TV-server service and go do channel scan.

Is there a bug so that the card stays locket to a transponder after positioning sat dish? Or am I doing something wrong? Problem with the card?

    Thans in advance

    Frodo:

How do I set the LNB Setup tab for the motor support? I have a check mark against SAT#1 and DiSeqC is set to NONE. If I don't put a check mark against SAT#1, SAT#2, etc, nothing is scanned. With the check mark a three satellites and DiSeqC is set to NONE, the dish automatically starts with #1 position, then goes to #2 and #3 - not very good if I only need to rescan one satellite.

With the check mark against, am I limited with just 4 satellites?

Now, scan goes over C-band and Ku-band even Ku-band is selected in LNB setup tab. It takes more time go scan. Is it possible to fix?

The motor tab window seems to be very slow to respond (it takes 1-2 minutes to respond). Is this normal?

Will there be USALS support? I am really missing this feature.

AS you can see below in the forum, I'm also asking for USALs support, or at least correct diseqc 1.2 implementation, so I'm sure I can buy a new DVB-s card to move my motor...

    Is frodo still available?

You can move the motor manually from other programs until USALS appears in MP.
