Latest and great - the controller support mainly would be useful.

mm1352000 - Still no luck

TBS 6984 DVBS/S2 Dual Card (only one feed connected) is installed and power is now connected to card.

Satellite Dish has 2 feeds from LNB

Feed 1 directly into sky+ box
Feed 2 directly into Socket on Tuner Card.

Followed various instructions and same issues occur in MP1.6 and MP1.11

Can view TV and Record TV through MP just this EGP Grabber is not working always with the same NoSignalDetected message.

PC :
HP Compaq 8000 Elite
4GB Ram
60Gb SSD Primary HDD
3TB Secondary HDD

Windows 8.1

I have tried using both feeds from the satellite dish and one feed into tuner A with no luck at all.

Next step is to reinstall windows completely or install windows 7 but this seems drastic,

Log files are the same but seems to stay "dvb: LockInOnSignal could not lock onto channel - no signal or bad signal"

Any help would be appreciated!!!

have tried with both feeds from LNB with same issue. Would like to get everything working before disconnecting sky box.

The logs you posted simply show that TV Server can't get your tuners to lock on signal. That could be due to a number of things, including:

1. Power connection on PC tuner card not connected.
2. Bad configuration causing TV Server to attempt to use a PC tuner that is not connected to the satellite dish.
3. PC tuner connected to set top box loop out and/or via splitters => PC tuner can't work independently, requires other tuners/STBs to be powered on and/or tuned to certain channels.
4. etc.

Therefore, if you want help please give a full description of your LNB, the connections to your LNB, and especially how the set top box (AKA STB, Sky box) and PC tuners are connected.

Normally that parameter should be set to the correct value for the transmitter (in this case KingOfSat says 2/3). It should be set for all your other channels... which I guess might explain why the grabber is failing while other channels work fine. It would help if you could post a log showing preview working so that I can check them.

I know some tuners won't mind if the parameter is not set.
Some will tune slower when it is not set (because they have to auto-detect).
Maybe others like yours won't lock on signal at all when it isn't set.

I would be a bit surprised if this is the problem, because I would have thought other people are using similar tuners... and I haven't seen similar problems reported.

Unfortunately I don't think DJBlu has made the parameter accessible, because the screenshot here doesn't show it:

This test seems to confirm what I suspected. The log shows:

All other parameters are very similar to the parameters that the grabber is using.

Unfortunately I'm not able to make changes to the grabber. I can only say what I think is wrong, and hopefully somebody else may be able to fix it.

Howdy,

I've 1.11 installed with MSSQL, with the help in the earlier posts I have everything running with the exception of the TV Guide.

I use the MP plugin for Kodi, and the guide doesn't work in there. Thinking the issue was related to the plugin, I fired up MP to check the guide there, and it too is empty.

I've re-re-re-configured MP a few times re-reading the guide in the OP. I'm just wondering what else I could try?

I don't have any WebEPG or XMLTV config options setup... ...
