I just looked at the NZ plugin code there and note that there's a subtle difference in the way the test for the "Every day at ..." option is performed, i.e.. the dates are compared using DateTime.Compare() rather than with a straight arithmetical comparison. Also use made of parentheses rather than relying on operator precedence, although I couldn't actually find any fault with the UK version in that regard.

Posting from my phone so apologies! All the plugins come from the Base UK work done by Djblu. The UK one was far more advanced because it had to be to deal with the 900 or so channels. The NZ one only has to deal with two providers really and 160 channels, as such the NZ code didn't contain all the changes such as throttling, this is also why the scheduling is different because he kept updating the UK one due to problems. Both plugins lack the finesse of his work as my vb is poor and dealing with a decompile code made it harder. The plugins that I updated are a good start but they need a hell of a lot of work to get them to what djblu released.

Thanks Benoire, that clears it up. Now, for reasons that I can't explain it's started scheduling properly when set to grab every day at 2.10am (wakeup at 2.00), so everything's good for the time being at least.

EDIT: .. and last 2 nights it didn't do a thing. Ah well ....

Not really the most appropriate thread maybe but I am using the latest Custom Grabber version. Been struggling to get my client to connect to the server other than to see the guide information. Have changed the hostname to the server ip address in the Gentle files but no joy.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Client logs attached.

    Hi

I've installed version 1.9 as suggested on the first page, the grab and epg is updated perfectly as previously but now I have problem with time shifting/recording. I get pixelation and screen breaks ups every 20-30 seconds or so. Below is a selection from the TsWriter.log. both signal lever and quality are both >90 for both tuners and this occurs if there are 1 or 2 timeshifts/recordings.

    I never had a problem pre-upgrade.

Not sure if it's even possible but if you upgrade to stock 1.10 then you'll obviously lose the custom data grabber stuff. Not much changed between 1.09 and 1.10 though so there's not exactly a big rush for a new custom data grabber release.

I guess I'll get it done at some point but the timing's off - I guess a Christmas release is nice for MP but not so convenient for those who have to do a bit of patching! Like @DragonQ says - not much new stuff so hopefully nobody's in a hurry.

    Happy new year everyone !
I have a question re the settings on the plug in. I have 5 tuners, do I need to enable all for grabbing or just one ? Sorry if this is documented as I couldn't find it. Cheers
