Sooo... Do we REALLY need packed textures? I hope MPII is made without them.
Easy peasy, just remove everything you don't want cached, and start MP and the files are created.
Stop the muppet show please. Of course we need them. Speaking of a "Fix" is pure non-sense. Disabling the caching WILL lead to many issues. The most severe will be MP crashing without any notice leaving a log line like this:Sooo... Do we REALLY need packed textures? I hope MPII is made without them.
OK, I'm qualified to answer this now that I've been giving my system a thrashing for a couple of days - the answer is "NO! we don't need them" My system has never run better
Of course. Not changing the BXML will just cause the deserialization to fail and therefore crash MP.Easy peasy, just remove everything you don't want cached, and start MP and the files are created.
Is that it? I thought something had to be done with the BXML file too. If I'd known it was that easy I wouldn't have bothered you with the above

...Not changing the BXML will just cause the deserialization to fail and therefore crash......I've added an exclusion for the Thumb_Mask and all files starting with "cached*.png"....
OK then, feel free to remove it. I will not submit it again. I'll just have to use it for myself ...all alone...
