Current build of MpNZB pugin and future build of MyTorrents plugin can do this.
Also if you enabled "download info about all episodes" and "view all episodes" options and have MpNZB/MyTorrents instaled you could find Search NZB/Torrent in context menu of episodes

Not as of right now. You can do it indirectly by enabling the option to download all episode info and then show all files (via options). This will then show the missing episodes in a different color (depending on skin, mine are orange). This is the same color used for offline media so you need to make sure that all your episodes are online to rely on this info.

Using 3rd party solutions that does this process fully automatic might be much easier for the time being, such as SickBeard which ties in directly with SABnzbd+ (usenet) or µTorrent (P2P), and can run alongside MediaPortal on the same system, or concurrently on a different system.

fixed the episode naming above ^. There was no error in the naming of the file itself. Every time I enter TV Series, it tries to re-scan the episodes. The series appears for just a few seconds and disappears again.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

I do not know why this xml was in my theme folders, it must have sneaked in some time ago (years?). I simply removed the file. The Latest Media Handler plugin seems to be working as expected. I've had no lock-ups.
