dropouts when watching hd tv (2 Viewers)

Hello again, so I was able to reproduce again today. Now I came home from work. Turned on the TV. Waited for almost a minute before I got a picture. After a little while I changed channel and the new channel was black. Had to turn TV on/off and then I got a picture.

This is with the new TSreader from this thread.

Is your system going into standby or completely powered down?
I've got a feeling the first tune after standby (in my case) is the tune that fails the most. After the first tune after resume (cold boot also), it seems to go a LOT better.

Good point, when I reinstalled to win8.1 I have not tuned power settings. Have tried to adjust this now, maybe that will help thanks for the tip!

At least, again, the new tsreader works alot better!

I have some sound cut from IPTV stream and with help of Georgius that analyse the dump, tell me that it seems related to TsWriter.

Audio cut is tv service thing ... it is reporting discontinuities, but there aren't discontinuities in stream, also it reports some forward jump.
Tswriter reports some forward jump and also discontinuities but no any other software reports problem, so it seems that tswriter cannot handle that stream for some reason.

@mm1352000 has maybe an idea too ?

The dump is sort-of 'broken' in that the video stream has large PTS jumps in it, which is almost certainly what is causing the problems. TsReader is logging video PTS changing to zero then back to what it should be periodically (I think it's when the logo changes position). The audio stream(s) seem fine.

This dump doesn't want to play in VLC, and I hear "audio cuts" when I preview it in TransEdit. So, I think there is something unusual about the source... and the problems are probably not introduced by TsWriter.

Thanks Guys, yep IPTV French provider is crasy, it create TV channel with multiples audio stream for RADIO, this kind of setting didn't give name radio etc.
So the idea was to create each tv channel from each Radio and then with Georgius filter to parse information to the url (rtsp://.....) to add audio PID and get radio with a full list but it's offtopic.

I have create the dump with georgius filter under graphstudio and it has 1 video + 6 audio (each audio is a radio) and on video like Tony explain, we have a LOGO.

So in final, it's seems not easy to get radio in MP with this IPTV provider lol.
@Owlsroost we can't do nothing then, because it's seems to be related to Video.
