Where do I put them for them to show up? I've tried to put a Winamp plugin (kernel streaming output, .dll file) in the folder suggested in the Wiki, but it still doesn't show up in the DSP/Winamp list.

Should be in MusicPlayer\DSP (not on my Dev PC, so i'm just guessing)
I was playing around with Winamp DSP plugins yesterday and they're working in general.
Maybe the one, you're trying to use is incompatible.
Post me a link to it and i will try it, when i'm back home on Tuesday.

Doesn't show up. In Winamp it shows up as an Output Plugin as opposed to a DSP Plugin. Other DSP's show up just fine, so probably incompatible.

So this means that in order to use it I have to install Winamp and use the Winamp plugin/external player in MediaPortal? I guess it's worth a shot, if only to still my curiosity.

Yes, can confirm that this doesn't show up.
It isn't detected by the Winamp_DSP:FindPlugin method, which means that this isn't a BASS compatible DSP plugin and therefore can't be used with BASS Player.
I guess it will work using Winamo as external player.
There was also support for Winamp Outpuit Plugins, but they dropped it and the old version isn't compatible with newest BASS anymore

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!

When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...
