Which Version of the TMT renderer did you Test ?
I only tested the newest Version .170 but I heard the previous Version .160 Works much better?
Perhaps this issue is only related to .170?!?

    Best regards
    Chris

I tried the .170 version. I will try the older version when I have time. Did you already try the older versions?

    Thx

Just re-installed TotalMedia Theatre to get this .160 *.dll
After you've grabed this dll and put it into another folder ... install .170 patch... they can co-exist...
Now it seems to work?! At least the few tests I run worked....

So you mean copy the .160 dll to another folder, install .170. And register the .160 dll in the other folder?

    thx

Could you mail me the *.dll. I don't have the .160 patch. Or I can't find it.

    Thx

I've to correct myself ... It seems that this lockup of the renderer is absolutely Random!
It also happens with this older dll...

After testing a little bit further I made some progress:

With the latest arcsoft dll and ffdshow compatability Mode Set to xonar ... All multichannel Audio Files work fine!
Also resetting back to normal Audio Works...
Now you loose the Audio only After bitstreaming hd Audio like DTS hd Master Audio ...

Perhaps someone other than me can post this Error in the doom9 ffdshow hd thread so albain can take a Look at this!

    Regards
    Chris

I have tried the .160 dll. I've put the file in the c:\ directory. Unregistered the asaudiorenderer.dll (.170) in the codec map of tmt. After that registered the .160 one. Checked every setting again and changed to the "new" audiorenderer.

But after this, the sound doesn't work. right clicked on the ffdshow audio tray button, and the arcsoft audio renderer was greyed out. It said DTS-HD and bitstream (HDMI) but no sound.

When I set everything back to normal (.170 renderer) everything works again, and arcsoft audio renderer isn't greyed out anymore.

Did you use a special directory to get it to work? Or didn't you unregister the .170 dll?

    Thx
