Thanks Chris , but I am using Vista and not Windows 7
By the way, a guy from an Israeli Forum told me that like me, he couldn't get real DTS HD and TRUE HD with Vista, but after upgrading to Windows 7, it's worked for him properly.
So maybe this is the real problem in my case also.

Anyway, I still don't know how to do 1,2,4 in your former message :)

I don't think so... After I've switched back to XP I also used Vista AND 7 ... no problems there...
Important is that you use Speaker Device as default if you are going to bitstream over HDMI connection.

    Regarding Point:
    1) Download https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...dalone-filters-dxva-ready-h-264-vc-1-a-44614/ and follow instructions!
    2) In Windows go to Start-> All Programms -> Zubehör?! How is it called in english?! Tools?! Additional Programms?! -> Command promt (right mouseclick run as admin)
    Type:
    cd c:\Program Files\ArcSoft\TotalMedia Theatre 3\Codec
    regsvr32 ASAudioRenderer.dll
    4) Is only needed when using MediaPortal as frontend!

    Problem:
When I start to install, I got a message which told that to make SAF working correctly, I must uninstall all codecs , filters and players, including FFDSHOW and MPC HC, cause it's already integrated in SAF
However FFDSHOW and MPC HC are already configured according to Jaybeam guide.
So what's now? Should I uninstall all, and how to configure again?
And what about TMT3? Should I uninstall it also?

This is awesome Jaybeam. I’ve waited for 2 years to have the ability to play ripped blu-rays with Dolby True HD output using MP. Now it seems to be here. I battled my way through the install last night. I had some issues and learning’s along the way – so I thought I would share the experience.

Bariko, I also use an ATI 2600 XT connected to a Xonar HDAV Slim connected to a Denon A/V Receiver. All connections are HDMI. I’m running Win 7 64 bit. It wasn’t a straight forward install, but I did get it to work. My receiver does show that the signal is Dolby True HD.

I’m fairly knowledgeable about PCs, but I’m new to this ffdshow stuff. So I started by following the instructions in the first post perfectly. When I tried to play a ripped blu-ray I got an error window stating “Unable to play. Video AVC. Audio True HD.”

I then uninstalled ffdshow and followed Iceman’s directions using SAF 4.00 stable - per post #28. After this, the ripped blu-ray played but did not output Dolby True HD sound.

After a few more uninstalls and re-installs I did the following. I installed SAF 4.00 stable. I then installed ffdshow per post #1. I registered the Arcsoft render per post #1. I then tried playing the ripped blu-ray and ……. IT WORKED! There seems to be a few bugs, but it looks promising.

I don’t know why it worked, or why my other attempts failed. Maybe the smart folks out there who understand this stuff could explain. I will be trying to figure it out, but going to work got in the way.

The bugs I’m experiencing. Sometimes the audio doesn’t start properly. Its skips and beeps – but no real audio. Also, the audio seems to get stuck in Dolby True HD – similar to CypherMK as noted in post #8. Iceman’s comments in post #22 are interesting. My output is configured for the Digital pass-through and it seems to be bit streaming fine. I’ll need to look at it again.

Thanks to everyone that’s working on this. Your postings have been really helpful.

I have some comments to your post:

    1. the big different between us, that you are using Windows 7, while I am still with Vista
    2. I can't understand how all connections are HDMI in your system. ATI 2600 XT does not support HDMI out. So if you are connecting it to the Xonar HDAV card, you must use HDMI-DVI cable
    3. FFDSHOW and MPC HC, already integrated in SAF. So how you can install FFDSHOW after installing SAF 4.00 stable??? It supposes to be there. You can configure it according to post #1, but not installing again..

Already tried SAF. And it works with the Arcsoft renderer. Only problem till now, is that AFTER playing the m2ts file with DTS-HD MA audio, the audio isn't working anymore in everything else (TV, MKV etc....) It just displays DTS-HD MA on my receiver all the time.

When I restart Mediaportal, everything is fine.

Ah well... there comes my problem from...
Is this a Bug in ffdshow? Or MediaPortal? Because this issue is not ONLY after playing HD content... it also gets stuck after normal Sorround Tracks!

WaveOut as Renderer should function too for bitstreaming, but without those nasty "bug" that we don't have audio after using it...
Can someone please verifiy this ?! I don't have access to my HTPC right now...

    Hi,

I just tried this. Waveout works with bitstreaming, but the BUG remains. So no audio after stopping. Restarting MP solves the issue.

Hope that someone comes up with a solution.:D

I've made up a threat in the Rc1 bug Report Section perhaps someone can confirm this issue there, to Five it a higher priority.

I will test some other Driver versions later the day.

I don't Know where to Search for this issue ... Is this MP or ffdshow or Driver relateted ?

    Best regards
    Chris

I also tried to open a m2ts file in MPC-HC. Both Dolby TruHD an DTS HD master audio were present in this file. Both tracks are playable in MPC-HC and Mediaportal.

But when I tried to open a new file in MPC-HC, like a MKV or MP3 file, the same bug occured. No audio!!

So what conclusion can we get from this?

    Thx
