Hey angusmann,

Another fine release off Dugg! Kudos to you.

One request though. I was wondering if it's possible for you to combine the title and subtitle strings into one? This would be extremely helpful for things like the NRL games.

So if the title is "NRL" and the subtitle is "Cowboys v Bulldogs", the resulting string would be "NRL - Cowboys v Bulldogs" for instance. Prehaps you could overwrite the "title" with the complete title + subtitle string? The data is there, but I can't see where the subtitle appears in MP.

Keep up the fantastic work, mate!

Hi
I just wanted to see if its just me or not. I don't seem to have any program information for channel seven on Monday.

I have channel seven info for all other days. Anybody else having this problem.

Any suggestions ?

thanks

Have you tried deleting the tv guide xml file in the MediaPortal folder, clearing the MediaPortal program guide database and then regrabbing with DUGG?

I'm not having that issue but then I am grabbing for Canberra.
My only suggestion would be to make sure that the channel name is correct? Mind you, if you have data for channel 7 for days other than Monday, then forget my suggestion as the channel name is correct.

    Hope that helps,

Could people be specific about which channels they mean ?

I'm trying to see the the FTP data is at fault but the task is impossible because there ae so many channel 7's to choose from.

It would be easier if you identified the channel by the number you used in dugg.ini

In any case....I did find an error in the quality checking routine and fixed it just a couple of moments ago in Version 5.5

This might solve the problem, but I can't be sure since I have not been able to find the faulty data in question.

Also.....now currently coding an extra command (as requested) to merge the title and subtitle for selected programs.

OK - as requested by squidina version 5.6 is now available and can merge the title and subtitle.

    Here's what to do....

decide what programme you want merged, and note the exact spelling of the title, including capitals.

Let's say the title is "Ethyl the Aardvark"
and the subtitle is "Ethyl 's brush with the law"

add an entry into dugg.ini like this :
    mergetitle=Ethyl the Aardvark

You can add up to 200 of these "mergetitle=" entries

When the program finds the title in question it will add the subtitle onto the end of the title, with " - " in between them.
    The subtitle will remain unchanged.

So the final title that appears in the guide will be :
"Ethyl the Aardvark - Ethyl's brush with the law"

    Enjoy.

Hi, sorry it is channel seven in Brisbane, channel 34. I tried switching it be channel seven in Sydney and that seemed to work ok, so its something to do with channel seven Brisbane.

As of version 5.61 it still doesn't work for Monday.

    thanks
