Yes, I have minnie.tuhs.org working now - it looks like the login problem was only temporary.... :)

Great to hear. I actually find the minnie.tuhs.org site and the guide quite good. I've scheduled it for the wee hours, and auto import it. Works a treat! ;)

Better & easier EPG guide site...

There is site (& mirror site) that supplies ready-made TV guides in XML format in a ZIP file for each area of Australia.

I have written a VB Script that downloads the ZIP file then extracts the XML file from it.

It then uses a freeware tool (gsar.exe) to search and replace the channel names to whatever channel names I/you like.

It then saves the extracted 'xmltv.xml' file as 'tvguide.xml' ready for Mediaportal to import.

All you need to do is:
extract my files into Mediaportal\xmltv\ folder,
open the GetGuide&FixIt.vbs script in an editor,
uncomment the xml guide you want to download,
enter the channel names you want &
    save & close the script.

Also you need to setup the TV Guide's 'compensate timezone...' option (in Setup in Mediaportal) to your Timezone. i.e. for Canberra I enter "-10", sans quotes.

Double click GetGuide&FixIt.vbs to get your new guide. :)

P.S. I have uploaded the script, etc. to the Downloads section, so just wait for it to be vetted and try it out.

    Have fun.

OK, tried the vbs script for downloading robbos guide.
Downloaded and extracted but didn't delete the zip or rename the file.
ie, I got a new xmltv.xml file and the original tvguide.xml is still there ?

    dugg has been fixed.

Download the current version (3.3) from :
    http://dugg.ueuo.com/files/dugg.zip

Best to clear out your current dugg directory and unzip the contents in there, because several things have changed.

    Read instructions.txt for full details.

An FTP enabled version is coming soon. If you activate the auto-update you will get the FTP version as soon as it's released.
