I suppose it depends on how DUGG grabs.
A few days ago they changed it so the tvguide search function obfuscated the date (no longer dd/mm/yyyy) in hex (but not so simple) and now they added some random number generation after it last night. Obviously DUGG cant be using that method as it broke that other C#XMLTV grabber again.

For F#@ks sake you would think we were talking about some kind of top secrect data, not just whats on TV.
I cannot believe the crap thats going on, with Nine sueing IceTV and all. I read an article where Seven were quoted as saying they were worried that accurate EPG data could be used to make high quality recordings of their shows ?? What are they smoking. Firstly if anyone wants to record a show they can still get the times from the paper etc. Secondly almost everything on Australian TV is already available on a torrent site somewhere.

I have downloaded the latest version of DUGGS and it grabs all the program data. However I have a problem when I try to import it into Media Portal. Basically Media Portal says there are no channels when it trys to import. I noticed that in my old pre DUGGS 3.3 tvguide.xml that there were channel ID's at the top of the xml file then all the data.
In the DUGGS 3.3 created tvguide.xml it keeps stripping out the channel ID's at the start and then Media Portal says it can't find channels when I try to import. I noticed that DUGGS make a seperate xml file called TVchannels.xml but I don't know what to do with that? Any ideas? I was tearing my hair out last night trying to get the EPG to work.

It would probably help if you posted your "dugg.ini" file here, 'cause it sounds like you are missing a couple of instructions?
For example, this is what I have (a portion of my dugg.ini) to create the file MediaPortal is looking for, and to rename the channels to match their names in MediaPortal:-

Mine pretty much worked right out of the zip, I just dropped it in there, changed MCE to MP, set the time zone and my area code. Ran it this morning and it autoupdated to DUGG 3.4 and it seems good.
I have an odd thing happening... Everything seems to be ok but within MP, I only get 8 word descriptions for shows, but when I open up the TVGuide.xml file the full descriptions are there... Is there setting somewhere I need to change to get the full desc's?
Nope, maybe its the skin?
