    Thanks James,

I've also put a config for sbs6.sbs.nl in the CVS, a 2nd source, backup, etc.
I have not done the linked pages yet, but if someone could test it and see how it goes that would be great.
I'm willing to test the new grabber as it would be nice to have an alternative to tvgids.nl. I'll apply latest CVS soon to my HTPC an set things up to use the new grabber. You can also contact me on IRC if you like (nick: micheloe).

    Kind regards,
    Michel

Does anyone have a solution for the EPG that completely works?

    - TVgids_to_XMLTV gives a output that results in an error when I try to import into the output MP.
    - Same story for TVxb.
    - tv_grab_nl seems to skip some chanels (not all chanel guides are filled)
    - tv_grab_nl_wolf also doesn't download all info, and I want the full program details downloaded.

All seems to work now. Is it possible to let MP import the TVguide.xml data in the background. So I can keep watching TV while the TVguide is being imported? Or even better... can I make a scheduled task for it? So it happens automaticly at, lets say..., two hours after WebEPG has imported the data from internet?

As far as I know MP does automatically import tvguide data.

That's not what the WebEPG guide tells me...

Double click on WebEPG.exe, making sure you are connected
the internet and let it do its thing! There is no Interface and no
confirmation that it has finished. Just wait for your Internet activity
to cease, or look in task manager to see that WebEPG.exe has
    closed itself.
Once this is complete open MediaPortal go to My TV, and then
enter the TV Guide. Press F3 and select Import TV Guide.

    Hi,
The guide it's a bit old but still useful.
MP now imports automatic so you don't have to use F3.

If you want to know when WebEPG.exe is finished, open the XMLTV folder in MediaPortal & when TVguideWriting.xml(or something like that) changes to TVguide.xml it is done.

    Regards
    Roy

That's all working fine! WebEPG is the best solution so far.
But does MP need to be restarted to get a TVguide.xml imported? Or does it monitor the file constantly for canges?

I enabled the "Linked Page" option. The vlues are automaticly set to 18 and 23 but no detail or genre is being downloaded at all. What am I doing wrong?

I think the guide is just telling the user how to import the guide right away. I'm not sure how often MP checks to see if the Tvguide.xml file changes.

So if you want to see the results of running WebEPG for the first time F3 may be the best. However, after that it will all happen automatically.
