I am wondering, if MP can record IPTV with subtitules, so I can than watch recorded tv program with subtitules in any media player (bs player,..)?
Hi,

it is possible, but media player must support subtitles in stream (e.g. VLC player supports subtitles in stream). I tried BS player, but on video which I have BS player didn't recognize subtitles in stream.

omg. Thank you very much. With VLC player my problem solved.:D

Great job!!! All work fine. :D:D

I tested it in 2 scenarios:

    Scenario 1:
    One NIC:
Intenet, internal LAN, MediaPortal and IPTV used the same NIC.
    Format rtp://localServer:localPort (and dup): work
Format C:|interface=Local Area Connection|url=rtp://@localServer:localPort (and dup): work

    Scenario 2:
    Two NICs:
NIC 1: Intenet, internal LAN and MediaPortal.
NIC 2: IPTV (without gateway nor DNS servers)
Format rtp://localServer:localPort (and dup): don't work (correct because routing is not configured)
Format C:|interface=Local Area Connection|url=rtp://@localServer:localPort (and dup): work

    All is Ok :D

Hello, i am a newbie in mediaportal. I had installed system and codecs. And now i trying to configure iptv. But it's not works. I install last module, create m3u playlist (converted from xspf - why it's not support sxpf?) And long time searching how to import playlist... Then I put it to C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal ... and can choice my ISP-list from menu. Then I pressed "scan for channels" and... nothing! I pressed again and - nothing.
    What's wrong? Help me please.
    Code:
    m3u playlist in same format:
    #EXTM3U
    #EXTINF:-1,Playlist InetCom TV

    #EXTINF:-1,2x2 TV
    http://tv.inetcom.ru/get_channel.php?id=42
    #EXTINF:-1,7 TV TV
    http://tv.inetcom.ru/get_channel.php?id=44
    #EXTINF:-1,MTV Russia TV

Can you attach logs (best choice is via MediaPortal Debug-Mode, then select Export all currently present logs)?

    Hi,

I can't find in your logs that you scan something (also didn't see log for IPTV - did you copy all files from archive to tv service folder?). Can you close MP, close TV Server Configuration, stop TvService, clean up all logs (especially in TV service log folder) and try scan again?

    Archive created by watchdog.exe

Enabled debug mode in mediaportal config, stoped service and run tv-server config again...

    Nothing :(
